‘Id’ tells a very simple story on the basis of a very ‘complex’ theory. It is simply a tale of human behaviour and how one’s desires is coupled with one’s sense of moral judgment and finally leads to an individual’s decision. ‘Id’ is a potpourri of sociological studies summarised and portrayed through the lives of six people who encounter the values of friendship, family, social choice, religion, etc. Perhaps understanding Freud isn’t as difficult as it has always seemed.

Written and Directed by John Shebat de Silva. This is de Silva’s second production since 2007 / 2008’s ‘News for You: Termination of the Teenage Population’ which was staged at bothTAS@GreenHall in Penang and KLPac. John was inspired to compose ‘Id’ after a brief semester of studying Sociology in college and based the plot on campus occurances.

Fresh from their highly successful comedy that paid tribute to the greatest ‘highway’ statesman of all time in WHY BE, Monti and Logi will take a fresh look at the new Bolehland in their new political satire and stand up comedy MALAYSIA KINI.

The old Bolehland had provided more than 9 years of entertainment, laughter and joy to the audience and the new Bolehland will continue to play to the demanding audience with exciting scenes and the new characters pitting against each other in the recent political arena.

With a group of strong new guards of more than 82 in the opposite end and the emergence of new expressive, vocal and bumbling new leaders from the other end, the political scene is set for tumultuous and humorous years ahead.

The scene kicks off with the results on March 8 2008 with many political giants going tumbling down the hill and calling each other monkey and ape. You can expect more to come.
