From the team that created and presented the hugely successful Broadway Parodies Lah! and the award-winning sequel Broadway Parodies Lagi Lah! comes Mamak Mee-Ah! With sikit pinjam konsep from the Western Forbidden Broadway spoof, Mamak Mee-Ah! is another rich rojak of Malaysian life garnished with a big splash of humour and served up on a platter of great songs.

This all-singing, all-dancing musical incorporates familiar Broadway tunes but the lyrics have been spoofed to showcase and celebrate Malaysian culture, characters and icons. With lots of comedy and some brilliant dance routines, the story revolves around a visiting Singapore lawyer and staff discovering the unique delights of Malaysian style street food cooked by a Mamak, his wife and family.

He befriends the food loving Ah Fatt and somehow gets involved in matchmaking Ah Fatt’s geeky student son with his intended squeeze. Songs include I Feel Hungry (I Feel Pretty), I’ll Eat Anything (I’d Do Anything), Sambal Nights (Summer Nights), If I Were A Tan Sri (If I Were A Rich Man), Bare Celebrities (Bare Necessities) and, of course, Mamak Mee-Ah! (Mamma Mia).
